Thank God in Heaven!
It’s a Democrat’s dream come true: It looks like Sarah Palin is actually going to run for president, after all.
After all, she’s bought a $1.7 million mansion in Scottsdale, Arizona. And she kicks off a bus tour this weekend through New England, with plenty of stops in New Hampshire.
If you think that’s a sign she’s getting ready to jump into the race for the 2012 nomination, you’re right. And a close friend of hers told me last night: “If I had to guess, she’s running.”
How sweet it is. There is no candidate Democrats would rather see at the top of the Republican ticket – because there could be no greater contrast between the governing skills of Barack Obama and Sarah Palin.
Who are you going to trust to grow the economy? The man who’s already saved us from another Great Depression or a drop-out governor of Alaska?
Who are you going to trust to keep America safe? The man who got Osama bin Laden or a former beauty queen from Wasilla?
Or who would you rather listen to? Barack Obama or Sarah Palin?
Oh, if only Sarah Palin were the Republican nominee. Republicans would lose all 50 states.
That’s my parting shot for today.
