Who came in second? Who came in third?
Who cares? The only thing that matters is: Mitt Romney won New Hampshire – by a lot more than he won Iowa.
He’ll win South Carolina in 10 days – then go on to win Florida. By which time, even Tea Partiers will have to accept that he’s going to be the Republican nominee.
But he’ll be a far weaker nominee, now. Why? Because of the barrage attacks on Bain Capital by his fellow Republicans.
After all, the entire premise of the Romney campaign is that he’s an experienced business leader – and a proven job creator. But not according to Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, and Rick Perry.
In language right out of the Occupy movement, they call him a greedy, corrupt, corporate profiteer – and a proven job destroyer.
How lucky for the Obama campaign. They won’t even have to make any campaign commercials against Mitt. They can just run in the general election the same commercials run against Romney by Newt Gingrich in the Republican primary.
It makes you wonder if Newt Gingrich is really on Obama’s payroll.
That’s my parting shot for today.
