I have a message for Herman Cain: It’s all over, Herman. Your campaign is over. You are toast. Time for you to accept reality. Give it up. And get out of the way.
We’ve had enough of Cain’s denials. How can he continue to deny any inappropriate activity when four different women have come forward with almost identical stories? Are they all involved in some conspiracy?
And we’ve had enough of his pointing the finger of blame. First, he blamed the liberal media. Then, people playing the race card. Then, Rick Perry. And now he blames Gloria Allred. Come on, Herman. Face the music. There’s nobody to blame but yourself.
The most serious charges so far are those we heard yesterday from former National Restaurant Association employee Sharon Bialek. Most serious because she came forward personally and spoke on camera. And she described behavior by Cain that, if true, amounts, not just to sexual harassment, but to sexual assault.
Let’s be honest. There is no way the Republican Party, no matter how dumb it is, will nominate Herman Cain, with all his braggadocio and baggage, to be the Republican nominee for president – or vice-president.
It’s over, Herman. Go back to making mediocre pizza.
That’s my parting shot for today.
